Act for Peace in the spirit of Christ

  • The Morris J. Wosk Memorial Peace Library has links to peace projects and peace making.

  •  In From The Cold brings hot meals from Canadian Memorial to First United Mission in Vancouver's downtown eastside.
  •  We support the United Church of Canada's Mission and Service Fund  (click on link for more details).
  • Our Ministry Team for the Environment cultivates a spiritual understanding of Creation, to adopt and promote awareness of a spiritually-principled approach to planetary sustainability.

 Other Outreach

We support First United Church, which serves the downtown eastside neighbourhood of Vancouver.  While the Mission & Service Fund provides significant support for First United, we provide additional support through fund raising events, clothing donations, food donations and other direct help programs.

Our Memorial Heritage

Canadian Memorial Church was built in remembrance of those who died in war, and on Remembrance Day, November 11, 1928, was dedicated to the cause of peace.  We have special services each Remembrance Day, and our stained glass windows and Books of Remembrance are permanent reminders of this proud heritage.
