Memorials, Funerals and Receptions
At a time of death, Canadian Memorial Church is honoured to
help with your Memorial Service, Funeral Ceremony and reception that day.
Contact the Minister, Minister of Pastoral Care or the
Office.
At the service or Ceremony the Minister or Minister of
Pastoral Care will preside, the
organist is available, and the office can prepare a printed bulletin for the
service.
In the case of a Memorial Service for members of the
congregation or their
immediate family, the Memorial Garden adjacent
to the Church may be used for interring cremated ashes. The name of member
of Canadian Memorial interred there will be added in calligraphy to the Memorial
Book.
Fees
The typical charge for conducting a Memorial Service is $500,
which includes payment for the Minister, Organist, office and custodial staff
and use of the Church Sanctuary.
A portion of the cost may be waived for current members of
Canadian Memorial (or adherents - those who while not members, have a history of
regularly attending and supporting).
Additional services,
if required (such as
soloist, sound technician,
interment, special bulletins, etc.) will add to the
costs.
If you wish to
use our facilities for a reception afterwards, those costs and details are
better explained on our facilities
page. |
