Imagine Survey
The Imagine Visioning process is our way of affirming that, indeed, "all things are possible" - and it's underway! The staff and the Board came together for a retreat this past weekend and began the process of imagining the future that needs us in order to emerge at Canadian Memorial. We will be producing a document which captures the essence of what happened. (And we're very excited). Of the 20 people present, none - that is none - were around when we put together our existing Mission, Vision, and Value statement. Who are we now? What is God calling us to?
The next retreat will involve our Ministry Team leaders and other people from within CMUC and the larger community. They will build on and go deeper into what emerged at the first retreat.
Finally, the whole congregation will be invited to a congregational retreat on Sunday, April 5. The theme of the service will be Imagine Canadian Memorial. Following the service, the whole congregation will be invited to stay for an afternoon of holy conversation, grounded in what came out of the previous two retreats.
But, you don't have to wait to make your contribution. Here are some questions that we would like you to reflect on. Write your responses down, and submit them to the office at your leisure. Use as much additional paper as you need to fully express your vision. The surveys will be gathered, recorded, and used to shape our process together.
