The Peace and Social Justice Alliance at CMUC works to advance the principles asserted on our website:
- We are called to reveal and realize the Kin(g)dom of God and by God’s grace to evolve in our understanding of what peace means and how it manifests through us, individually and collectively.
- We collaborate with other Peace organizations in service to humanity and all of creation, faithful to the Spirit of Christ.
- We approach the call with a focus on peace at the individual, local, national and world levels, balancing study, prayer and meditation on Peace with active works in support of Peace. We believe that peace is not possible without universal and enduring social justice.
- Currently, we are providing monthly peace-focused activities for those who wish to connect their mind to their personal heartfelt emotion through their hands. Please bring your own snacks. Past events have included gatherings using the arts and dialogue.

We also join the wider church in our support of the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons and worldwide nuclear disarmament.
