Centerpoint

Centerpoint Spiritual Pilgrimage
This is one of Canadian Memorial's "Spiritual Pathways" programs.

A Spiritual Development Group

Retreat at Daybreak Centre, Jan 2006Centerpoint offers the opportunity to explore and practice the ancient Wisdom and Contemplative Traditions of the Christian faith. Participants engage in a transformative inward journey as relationship with God deepens. This contemplative process frees us to discover more fully the place of  the Holy Spirit within.  From this ‘centerpoint’ we each come to see Christ’s living Spirit in the world. Centerpoint encourages and supports study, reflection, and prayer, both as individuals and in community. We open ourselves to ongoing spiritual growth and discernment of life choices.

Participants become ~ companions walking in faith, prayer and wisdom, through the seasons of the Christian year:

  •  by attending weekly sessions: October – May

  • by engaging in the study and practice of Christian contemplative prayer traditions

  • by sharing spiritual experience, faith journey

  • by setting aside time for weekly reflections

  • by developing a daily prayer practice

  • by intentional balanced and compassionate living.
