About Us

Canadian Memorial United Church
was built following the First World War, as a memorial to those who died, and was dedicated to the cause of peace.  We have a page on our history, including our stained glass windows and Books of Remembrance.

The Centre for Peace
is adjacent to the Church, and houses our offices and meeting facilities.  Many groups and organizations use the Centre for Peace.

Check out What's Happening, a listing of upcoming activities of the congregation.

An overview of all the groups in the congregation will give you an idea of a team you might be interested in.  The people page lists staff, Board members and team leaders.  Job Postings lists any vacant volunteer or staff positions. Membership describes how you can join this community of faith.

The governing body for the congregation is the Board, and their page speaks of the governance style and policies.  The vision, mission and values of the congregation really tell what we are about.  Our Story of the Year (350kb pdf file) is the annual report for 2005-06.

Did you ever wonder about our logo, that is affectionately known as the little guy?

We are a congregation of the United Church of Canada, and our links page list a number of associated and interesting websites.

We have a Privacy Policy that protects the personal information of our members and adherents.
