Tim Turner - Educating for Sustainability
Bio:
Tim Turner is a long standing resident of Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast. He and
Wendy Miller founded Sea To Sky Outdoor School for Sustainability Education in
1992 while raising a young family of two boys. Together with a skilled team of
educators Sea to Sky has delivered over 500 programs to learners of all ages
using the 3R’s of Real, Relevant, Revolutionary in the spectacular classrooms of
Keats and Gambier Islands.
Workshop:
“Greenstar! Living like the future mattered.” A practical, hands-on approach to
life that pays close attention to five very important relationships we have with
our world – water, garbage, toxins, greenhouse gases and food.
Format:
Interactive, with some experiential and some lecture.
